通常は非公開のアーカイブピースを、十代当主・西村彦兵衛自らが選び抜き、その背景にある物語を皆様に直接語りかけます。

漆が刻んできた時、そして職人の情熱。それらが現代の空間で放つ輝きを、ぜひ間近でご体感ください。

本展は、予約不要でどなたでもご覧いただけます。

Unveiling 365 years of history and weaving it into the future.

Starting this Thursday, May 14th, we are honored to present “The Heritage Archive — Chapter 01” at our private salon on the 2nd floor of Zohiko’s Kyoto Main Shop.
The 10th Generation Master, Hikobei Nishimura, has personally selected rare archive pieces usually closed to the public.

He will be there to share the profound stories and craftsmanship behind each work.
Experience the timeless beauty of lacquer and the passion of artisans, radiating within a contemporary space.
This exhibition is open to all with no reservation required. We look forward to welcoming you for an intimate dialogue in the heart of early summer Kyoto.
